In order to keep from being buried alive in bags of yarn, I am knitting all-purpose thick-knit mats as fast as I can. Thick-knitting is a technique I developed just for this situation. I can use just about any kind of yarn scraps to make super-thick cushiony mats for sit-upons, rugs, cat beds, etc. It's fun and easy and would use up a normal knitter's "stash" in no time. For me, it has become an act of self-defense. THIS YARN HAS TO GO!
In the interest of self-preservation, I'm offering $10 off any thick-knit mat in my store, INCLUDING SPECIAL ORDERS! TODAY ONLY!
These mats are available in my OLA store and so is the ebook for instructions to make your own.
Thick-knitting uses large needles and 3-4 strands of yarn. This allows me to combine yarns in a variety of ways to create interesting patterns and effects. Each mat is unique.
Here is just a tiny sample of the yarn I have available.

You have some pretty colors there, Suze!! That pink and aqua is lucious!!
Sue was kind enough to give me one of these when I was traveling. It works and I know my trip would not have been as comfortable without it. I still use it everyday!!! I wouldn't give mine up for all the tea in china!!!
I'm intrigued..gonna go check 'em out!
