HAZEL ATLAS GOTHIC SHERBET DISH FREE SHIPPING

Vintage HAZEL ATLAS Gothic, Big Top Peanut Butter, Glass Sherbet
These were produced in the '50's and were sold with Big Top Peanut Butter in them. Back then, a lot of dishes were given away as promos with the product to help sell it. Laundry soap had Fireking dishes! I remember my mother saving these dishes for use! Since they were "free", these dishes were expendable. Now, however, they are becoming harder to find!
This cute little sherbet measures 3 5/8" and holds about 8oz. It has the crisscross and diamond pattern called Gothic.
No chips or breaks! Listing is for ONE dish. Shipping is FREE, stateside!

Green Crackle Glass Cruet with Double Ball Stopper

I think this gorgeous
crackle glass cruet
is from the Rainbow Glass Co.
There is no sticker,
but it was common practice
years ago to remove the
stickers from the bottom.
It is the stopper that led
me to Rainbow Glass,
as this particular style
was offered by their company.

This cruet is in excellent vintage condition!
I find no chips or breaks, and no evidence of any prior repairs.
A beautiful collector piece.
It is green... I'd call it an emerald green.

American Depression Glass

Depression Glass is the name given to American glass that was made during the 1930s, during the time of the Great Depression. American glassmakers sold mass-produced, pressed glass items to companies and distributors. This glass was made in pretty patterns and designs. It was also made in pretty colors, meant to bring some cheerfulness into people's lives when times were hard, and companies gave it away to promote sales. The glass was given away with products, or given away for free at movie houses. Sometimes there were coupons on packaging to send away for items with a certain number of purchases. Depression Glass was made in many colors, including pink, green, blue, amber, yellow, red, black, white, and also crystal.
I currently have a few depression glass items listed on OLA; all are old depression glass-I would never sell reproductions.
