We're finially finished with our storage Building

Hope we haven't been gone to long we have been real busy trying to put up our new storage building and are trying to get back into the swing of things, I am sure we have missed out on a lot, and will try to get caught up, looking forward in being able to make some more art work and be able to meet some of the new faces that have joined, we still have some great deals here at OLA and want to invite ya all to check them out, we also have come up with a new logo using one of our pieces we made and hope ya all like it to.

Vintage Folk Art Wooden Pig Piggy Cutting Board

Recently listed on www.onlineauction.com is a Vintage Folk Art Wooden Pig Piggy Cutting Board . This piggy-shaped cutting board has red paint around the entire outside edge, and black paint forms the details of the pig himself. Wonderful and folksy pig cutting board! The decoration is on one side only; the opposite side is plain. It measures approx. 19-3/4" long by about 9-1/2" high and about 3/4" thick. This piggy board is in good, used condition. There is a cut-out or opening in the tail, and also a small opening near his snout.

Garden History Chapter Twelve

UPDATE:
Only a month later, these snaps were taken on Feb.12,08.
The jonquils are getting ready to open. These border the entire fence, hope I didn’t repeat myself! Narcissus are already open, too.

This is the updated picture of the Mahonia (Oregon Grape) which is in full bloom.

And the Winter Daphin (just know I have been spelling this name wrong). Wow, those tiny blossoms have such a beautiful fragrance, shame I can’t share it with you. If it weren’t so cold I could sit on the patio and enjoy the smell just a little longer.

Now, Here is a picture of the crazy cold frame that my hubby puts together every year. It is made of cut plexiglas that he gets from work. They are old golf cart windshields. But they really work well as a cold frame too! I did have to put a couple of bricks on the top because it got so windy the other day.
Just goes to show ya, you can use a lot of recycled stuff to accomplish what you would like to do.

Of course I had to get a close up of the lettuce radishes and kohlrabies. Not too sure about the state of the broccoli. The seeds might have been too old. I think I see only about 5 broccoli plants.
