The OLA Team Blog was created on January 1, 2009, as a platform for OLA Founding Members, who are active sellers, to showcase their sale items. This web site allows members to link to their OLA Auction Houses and OLA Auction Listings.
Stubsinc is the Administrator and Moderator for the Team Blog. Currently the Team Members are Stubsinc, Fleapirates, Supergranny, Aesthetics48, LFWoodWorking, MetzyMom, SunflowerRanch, CurioCache, Kidatheart10, DavenDeb1178, and KornKountryTreasures.
At the present time, the Team Blog is open to all active OLA Sellers. We would like to extend an Open Invitation to all OLA Sellers to Join the OLA Team Blog. There is no fee or charge for this service.
If you would like to join the OLA Team Blog please send an O-mail to Stubsinc. Please include your email address. Stubsinc will use your email address to send you an invitation to join the OLA Team Blog. Your email address will not be shared with any third party in any way.
Here are the Rules for the OLA Team Blog:
(1) You must be an active seller at OLA.com
(2) Only promote OLA
(3) You must post at least one article and one comment every 7 days
(4) No trash talking other selling venues
(5) Links must be to your own OLA House or OLA Listings
(6) All links must open up to a new pop up window to show website (That way viewers are not taken away from the OLA Team Blog)
(7) You can post any article that would be interesting to OLA Members as long as it does not advertise or link to another selling venue website.
(8 ) If a Team Member has already posted an article about a specific OLA Event, please do not post a duplicate article about the same event.
We reserve the right to remove any link or article that does not follow the rules or contains content not suitable for all ages.
Non participating members will have their store/auction links removed from the OLA Team Blog Sidebar.
This is the perfect opportunity for OLA Sellers to Blog about their items without the hassle of setting up and maintaining their own blogs. All you would have to do is write your article and post it.
If you are interested in blogging and need some guidance, Fleapirates, Aesthetics48, SunflowerRanch, and MetzyMom have offered to help. Please contact them by O-mail to set up a scheduled time for them to help you.
We have an Addon Chat Room Link on the OLA Team Blog. Please feel free to use it. Just click on the “LIVE CHAT” banner and sign in with your user name. This Chat Room will also be used to for Training Webinars.
We hope you will join the OLA Team Blog. It is a great way to promote your sale items and OLA. If you have any questions or comments, please O-Mail Stubsinc.

For sellers: Right now merchants are encouraged to sign-up for the weekly specials. Information about being a merchant is located in the OLA Chat Forum. As each week progresses, merchants and products will be featured in advertising that will be spread far and wide by the participants. For buyers: Now is the time to plan your shopping experience! Check out the categories in each week listed below... what are your favorite things to shop for?
To make weekly browsing easy, just use the letter W and a week number in your search. For example, using the search term W1 during January 31st to February 6th, will show you the specific specials to be found during Collector's Week.

Collectible Hotel Statler Matchstand Ashtray
Remember when every home and place of business had ashtrays of one kind or another sitting around?
With the demise of smoking, ashtrays and advertising tobacciana items are rarely being made any more and they will, one day soon, become a hot collectible. Add to or start your collection today.
EX-SMOKERS, HOLD ON TO YOUR SMOKING COLLECTIBLES
When you quit smoking, keep your tobacciana collectibles. Tobacco stands without the top parts are good plant stands. Cigarette cases are popular as small purses that will hold a credit card, driver's license and a little money.
Tobacco tins and boxes are interesting storage containers, and the box labels and cigar bands work well for decoupage projects. Best of all, ashtrays can be used to hold short stemmed flowers or kept in the bedroom to hold earrings and rings overnight.
A very classy Hotel Statler Ashtray

If you are a collector, visit Supergrannys Treasures. I have been a collector for many decades and I just must dispose of my collection.
If you see several you are interested in...send me an omail with your choices and I will do my best to give you a super bargain.
Remember buy vintage...these will never be made again....
