Wyoming Sky

We see such spectacular scenery on the way to Montana! Sometimes I get pictures, sometimes I just drink it in! God really does have such a splendid way of showing us His creation!

This is a picture of the sun going down in Wyoming, right around Buffalo. It really was gorgeous!! And my picture may not do it justice but take my word for it . . . it was a hundred times more spectacular!

Every time we drive out here, we see different things. We don't take the time to stop and see all the tourist attractions because we are always in a rush to spend time with my dad. And the only time we ever stopped over was in Rapid City when our kids were small. We did stop at Mount Rushmore that year.

Someday, my husband and I will stop at every one of these tourist attractions and take our time. That will be the last time we come to Montana. Even though I was born in this state, except for my dad, my family are all elsewhere now. I have been driving out here in one fashion or another since 1969. That is a very long time!!

So, each time we come out, I drink in the beauty!! No matter the season, there is always something that God has for me to see! This old earth is beautiful!

Thank you for listening to me ramble! Please enjoy the picture and if you are in the holiday shopping spirit, please visit OLA.com!! Lots of great sellers there!! They are my friends and family! And when I get back I will get my listings back up, also!! Be sure to check us out next week at Korn Kountry Treasures.

Can you believe I was birthed in Montana? Not too many folks are actually borned in Montana. Part of it is gorgeous. The other half is dry flat land. and I believe you can drive like a bat out of hell:) Interesting indian reservations that are mostly pretty sad situations.

Uh, can't drive like that anymore, Granny, not legally, anyway!! he-he!! Yes the reservations are sad places. Wonderful what our government did for the Indians . . . well, I won't go into the fact I think they are trying to do the same for us all!!

Anyway, Montana AND Wyoming are beautiful to visit!! Western Montana has all the majestic forests, while the eastern edge is kinda flat and dry but still beautiful in it's own right!!

Glad to meet a fellow Montana baby!! I shared my growing up between Montana and Wyoming but was born in Montana.

I love it out west. We have beautiful mountains here but out west they are different. One year we went into McDonalds for lunch and the sun was shining. No coat needed! Came out to car covered with snow and freezing. That was in Wyoming. That night snow up to my knees. I still think it is beautiful.
