THE BUTTON BOX

The button box is sort of like an accordian except you have buttons on both sides. They are beautiful instruments with great sound.

This is one I have listed on OLA for sale. It was inherited from my husbands uncle who played it very well even though he was in a wheel chair. We were told by an appraiser that it was made around 1920 and the value is around $800.00. It is in excellent condition and is losing no air.

My husband plays a lot of instruments and he can play an accordian however he cannot play the button box like this one is as it takes special talent to play it like it should be played. This one is very beautiful and needs a good home while the condition is so good and it should be played to help keep it that way.

We have kept this in it's original leather case and in a climate controlled area.  The case is like new.
