Help Your Local Food Bank!

One of my supervisors at work is found this list on the website of the local food bank. I'm sure it would be a good guideline for all food banks, which are constantly in need.

Most-needed food items:
Beans
Rice (brown and/or white)
Oats
Soymilk or other shelf stable milk
Soup
Vegetables
Fruit
Tuna
Tomato sauce, paste, stewed, or diced
Peanut butter
Cereal
Macaroni & Cheese
Pasta
Juice
Holiday food items:
Cranberry sauce
Jell-O
Nuts
Stuffing
Gravy mix
Baking mix
Flour
Non-food items:
Large diapers
Formula
Soap
Toothpaste & brushes
Toilet Paper
Facial Tissue

If you want to donate to your local food bank, using items from OLA, here are a couple of suggestions!

Soap from one of our newest sellers, Latherupsoap!

And from our very special seller Draggontagger, a Soap Sock! An easy way to grip your soap, and great to use when you are down to the little slivers!

Food bank donations...they could also use $ to provide the things that are not given. Good idea.
